While the Kazahstani bloggers are getting ready to the BarCamp in Riga in February next year, a girl from the northern town of Temirtau is already paving her way to the popularity and hearts of the Latvians.

Jana Pidkuiko is the only artist from Kazakhstan on the international contest Hello Jurmala. This is a musical reality-show, aimed at finding new vivid and talented singers. There are 12 young artists from Georgia, Belarus, Lithuania, Italy, Estonia, Moldova, Israel, Russia and Latvia taking part it it.

Jana, 23, has been dreaming of the stage since childhood. She took part in the “New Wave” contest and won second prize in the EvroJurmala festival. The main prize of the reality-show is 30 thousand dollars, but Jana’s main goal is to make another solid step towards artistic carreer and success. Currently she’s getting prepared for the final stage of the competition.
