Wordpress is now available in Kazakh
Every day, I find new blogs in Kazakh. And many of them - even in their first posts - write that it would be better if there were a blog platform in Kazakh, since then it would be easier to use all the capabilities that it offers. Active Kazakh bloggers have not been indifferent to the problem, and they began to translate the Wordpress platform into Kazakh.
There is already a specific Google group of the Kazakh Wordpress-enthusiasts that helps bloggers exchange information and support each other. One of the distinctive features of Wordpress is that it offers a possibility to convert not only the external appearance, but also the “inners” of a blog into different languages. This means that it is possible to understand technical terms in one’s native language, rather than still having to work out what the English-scripted plug-ins mean.
The translation process began two months ago and more than 2,000 words have been already translated (on the picture below you can see the Kazakh version of Wordpress among other languages). During this time the number of blogs in Kazakh has also markedly increased. Wordpress is now available in Kazakh.
