As police officers informed the journalists of “Komsomolskaya Pravda” newspaper, the body of Alexander Legkodimov, 26, better known among Almaty youth as DJ Zayaz, was found early in the morning of February 3 with the signs of violent death. The crime is being investigated by a special group of detectives, but the law enforcement officials refuse to comment further or to speculate on the motives.

Alexander’s friends told that the musician was throttled in his own apartment, and the murder was not caused by a robbery, as soon as all belongings of the passed, except mobile phone, were left untouched. Alexander started his successful career in 1999 at “My Town”, one of the most poshy nightclubs of that time in Almaty, the bloggers recollect these days.
