KZBlog reports that nearly a month ago a group of 30 masked men in Almaty attacked 40 Turkish workers, employees of the Turkish construction company B.N.N. Pegasus. The attackers were allegedly armed with knives and guns, but only 4 men were injured. One assailant was captured and taken into custody by police.

Еven more strange in this story - which looks more like a gangster fight than an interethnic clash (whilst the company officials think those were terrorists) - is that there was no coverage of the incident in the Kazakhstani sources - I learnt about it from KZBlog, who in his turn refers to the Turkish news sources.
