The complex, which includes hotel, residences, business center, spa and a shopping mall, is being built by the Turkish holding OKAN in Almaty. The Baiterek complex will feature four 19-21-storey towers.

The retail sector will occupy five floors and 40,000 sq.m. Apart from the world brands shops and hypermarket, there will be three cinemas, exhibition hall, restaurants, spa, billiards, bowling and ice skating-rink.
The similar project is being realized by OKAN in cooperation with Kempinski in Astana, in the so-called old city. It is called Jeruik. Funnily, according to its website, the hotel and trade center in Astana “fully complies with all requirements of the state program Kazakhstan-2030”.
